Stavros Halkias Headlines August 23rd at The DC Comedy Loft

After dabbling with comedy in college, he started performing regularly in his hometown of Baltimore, where  he was named New Comedian of the Year in 2012. Since then he’s toured clubs, colleges, and independent shows across the U.S., been featured on XM Satellite radio, and become a regular on Robert Kelly’s You Know What Dude podcast.  Here’s a list of some the great comedians he’s had the opportunity to work with: Tom Papa, Dave Attell, and Tig Notaro. James Davis Headlines September 27th at the DC Comedy Loft

James Davis is a rising force in comedy. Hood Adjacent with James Davis premieres on Comedy Central on June 28th, where Davis will explore contemporary urban topics and share his perspective on the world he grew up in through a unique, hybrid style of comedy that bridges the gap between urban and mainstream comedy. Prior to this, Davis was writing for The Late Late Show with James Corden on CBS, and was a recurring character on Kevin Hart’s hit show, Real Husbands of Hollywood. In addition to his upcoming Comedy Central series Hood Adjacent with James Davis, James can be seen performing on Kevin Hart Presents: The Next Level, also on Comedy Central.


Martin Amini Headlines October 25th at the DC Comedy Loft

Martin Amini is one of the fastest rising comedians in the country. As the host and founder of The Overachievers Comedy Show, Martin has built a following that makes his show the most popular in the Nation's Capital. Martin has been a reoccuring performer at the Kennedy Center, Caroline's on Broadway, and The Comedy Store. His material touches on what its like growing up mixed in America, coming from an Iranian and Bolivian background. You can watch Martin on the new standup show Laff Tracks, premiering on TruTV January 2018.
